Five
Factor Model Questionnaire made available to all
PsychSol has always made its questionnaires
and assessments available for research and is now extending the free
availability of its instruments to some commercial applications.
The publication in Personnel Today of a
paper explaining how the Five
Factor Model Questionnaire (FFMQ), known commercially as the Persona
personality assessment, was developed and validated means that it
is likely to become the standard against which all other FFM and Big
5 personality questionnaires are measured.
The FFMQ is already freely available for research purposes,
but PsychSol will now release it for selected commercial applications
where users are willing to share research data with each other. Dr
Colin Gill said, “Science is a shared enterprise and human knowledge
advances most quickly when we work together. By making Persona freely
available I hope that we can establish a benchmark from which the
widest possible range of research findings can be directly compared.
PsychSol has always been a research driven organisation and we hope
that we can help others to drive their own research forward.”.
Inquiries to use the FFMQ or any other PsychSol questionnaire
are welcome from all researchers and practitioners who are willing
to share data or collaborate. For further information, or if you would
like to participate in a research project then please contact
